Laser Helmet and exercise/trampoline/iet I remember reading a post about the posibility of working out while using ones laser helmet in order to increase blood flow. I have been using a laser device for 2.5 months and can definitely tell a difference in the quality of my hair as well as the condition of my scalp. I recently upgraded to 212 diodes when I built a replica of OMG's laser messiah. I modified it slightly by using two layers for the helmet to keep the diodes in better and safer. Anyway, after building my helmet I realized that I could use my trampoline/rebounder during my treatment. Increaed blood/lymph flow and a whole host of benefits are produced. http://www.reboundair.com/33ways.htm Simply going up and down on the mat without your feet leaving the mat is all you have to do. You could also mimick this effect by bounding on any device like sitting on one of those ab balls and bounding up and down. Working out with the helmet is not good because of the sweating issue but these activities don't really need much exersion. I use my trampoline everyday but just recently thought I could really heal my scalp a lot quicker with this simple technique. I'm currently in physical therapy and heard about anodyne (LLLT) in class. Some of the pictures shocked the crap out of me;how good it worked in treating wounds. I remembered those Hairmax pieces being advertised and I'm glad I didn't jump the gun and make a dumb mistake like that. I also recently worked at a healthfood store at have been eating very good. Acai, Goji, Elderberry, Mangosteen juices, Hemp oil, Coconut oil, Emu oil, Quinoa, beta-sitosterol, detox herbs and working out have all been on my regimen these last 2.5 months. Like OMG said that lasers, a good topical, and dht blockers/good diet are your best bet in winning the war, rebounding also may enhance laser treatments.

I'm glad that you are seeing results after only 2 1/2 months using your laser device! Man... I'm a few days over a year and it's amazing. I'll have one year pictures soon, but I just trimmed up my hair again so it needs to get out to the same length it was in the originals. ...And yes, I've pretty much confirmed that I have significantly less gray hairs that I did even a few months ago. That's completely shocking to me! In fact, I still have on my OMG site here: www./index.php?/omg/personal_notes/six_months_itchiness_long_gone_and_apparently_forgotten/ ...and I'm QUOTING myself: "One more quick thought… unfortunately it doesn’t seem to do one damn thing for gray hair. In looking into it, I actually don’t think anything/anywhere has ever truly reversed one gray hair, though. Oh well…" lol... I'll have to update that soon! I don't know when they changed, but I noticed it all of a sudden a few weeks ago! It could have been gradual, or it could have been that they all reached the same level of healing that it takes to start producing dark hairs again close to the same time, and they all just changed recently. Also, just to mention... those hairs aren't under the laser light. Maybe that's why it took a YEAR for that to happen. "Regional benefits". So... that was a pleasant surprise, and I'll let you guys know if I realize that I was wrong or all of a sudden they come back or something. But back on topic, congrats again, and I'm glad you didn't fall victim to the hairmax, too! lol... -O.M.G.

i had a dermatologist tell me that the myth of 'going grey overnight' is because when/if we lose hair from stress or sickness, the gray ones are sturdier and survive. So we lose the dark hairs and it *looks* like we went gray overnight, but in reality, we just lost the dark hairs. Is it possible you have more dark hairs so it just looks like you lost gray? I know JDP said he saw some hairs actually turning darker, so i'm encouraged to hear that! dogface

Hey dogface, Yeah, I had quite a bit of hair that turned from pure white to black. It's not an overnight change but something that takes several months. It's actually pretty cool and I wish I saved those hairs or taken a pic of them. Anyway, I will say the science is behind lasers reversing or preventing gray hair. Not to mention many people have commented their hair became darker or reversed to their natural hair color after using laser therapy for awhile. So if it doesn't reverse gray hair I will say that it would be a very good preventative measure. I also can't say if it's the laser therapy or other treatment options that I'm doing but I will say I wasn't deficient in B vitamins that a lot of people would say is the only way possible to reverse gray hair.
