Note: This article is not an endorsement or a paid advertisement for the company Merck or it's product Propecia. It is only information for those who are taking or are considering taking the product. This week in the mail I received not one but two packets from Merck. When I opened it up I was surprised to find a $20 rebate coupon from Merck on 90 day supplies. Apparently this offer is going out to anybody who called into their toll free line for information on Propecia (1-800-830-PERKS (7375)), so if you're interested in trying Propecia or didn't call them before, you probably want to call them now so you can get $20 back when you make your next purchase. Here is the text of the offer I received regarding the offer: "As a user of PROPECIA and a member of the Perks Program, you've taken the first step toward treating your hair loss. Now we're enclosing your first perk - a rebate certificate good for $20 off your next ProPakTM - a 90-day supply of Propecia. Save $20 on your next PROPAK - a 90-day supply of Propecia. Just return the certificate above with proof of purchase by the expiration date. Instructions are provided on the certificate." On the back of the rebate coupon it says the offer is good for men only, expires on 02/20/99 and to allow up to 6 weeks for your check to arrive. I do not know whether someone who has not yet called will still be able to receive this offer, but if you are using or plan to use Propecia, you should call their 800 # in order to at least be eligible for future offers. content2 |
